Tradestars partnered with 852 Recordings to film a live podcast and interview session featuring entrepreneur Simon Squibb at their Islington headquarters. Using a dual Blackmagic 6K Pro setup, professional audio capture and a fast-turnaround workflow, the project was filmed, edited and delivered within 48 hours, leading to an ongoing content production partnership.

The project took place at the Tradestars headquarters in Islington, North London, located within the former Alexander McQueen headquarters. The session brought together business owners, entrepreneurs and members of the Tradestars community for a recorded interview designed to inspire and educate aspiring founders.

As a professional event videographer in London, my role was to manage the entire production process as a single operator while delivering cinema-quality visuals, professional audio and a fast turnaround.

To achieve this, I used a dual Blackmagic 6K Pro camera setup, allowing multiple camera angles throughout the interview and creating a polished final edit suitable for YouTube, LinkedIn and social media distribution.

Audio was recorded using professional lavalier microphones and a Zoom H5 recorder to ensure crystal-clear dialogue throughout the conversation. Professional lighting was also incorporated to create a clean and consistent visual style while maintaining a natural atmosphere within the venue.

The entire production, including setup, filming and pack-down, was completed within a four-hour window.

One of the key requirements was speed. While the original delivery deadline was five days, the completed content package was delivered within 48 hours.

The final deliverables included:
